Whether you are tracking activity for one local datacenter or multiple Digital Realty Trust sites around the world, our CMMS provides you with a wealth of information in easy to read and use graphical formats. From a single "dashboard" for example, you can quickly view the status of activities like open maintenance tickets, schedules for upcoming activities, and the state of individual components. Designed to deliver maximum flexibility and control, Digital Realty Trust's CMMS provides you with the capability to perform a wealth of functions related to your data center operations management including: establishing alarm escalation notification procedures, developing custom performance reports, and even using performance data to construct predictive maintenance models.

Operating in concert with our CMMS, Digital Realty Trust's Building Management System (BMS) places you in complete control over all of the components within your data center. Through the BMS' web-based interface you receive color-coded visual updates for every piece of your infrastructure equipment. Whether it's CRACs, CRAHs, UPS's or generators, your Digital Realty Trust BMS platform enables you to not only monitor unit activity but control it as well. With just a few keystrokes you can perform a variety of actions, such as changing set points, and turning units on and off, to ensure that your data center runs as efficiently as possible. This maximized efficiency promotes both cost-effectiveness and environmentally compatible "green" operations.

A secure environment is an essential requirement to protect your mission critical applications. Each Digital Realty Trust facility features a Security Access and Control System (SACS) that uses a global "one badge" or biometric access methodology to track the comings and goings of your data center employees and prohibit the entry of unauthorized personnel. Your site's local SACS system also communicates with our Critical Facilities Management® BMS and CMMS modules to report and record alarm information to ensure that you have the most comprehensive security information possible.

Every Digital Realty Trust facility features revenue grade, networked meters to monitor and record your power usage. As a result of this metered approach you pay for power on a consumption-basis where we pass through the actual cost of power you use with no mark-up. Digital Realty Trust's use of power metering also enables you to track and trend usage over time to aid you in developing your own cost-effective utilization and environmentally friendly "green" strategies.
